It’s a scene you know all too well.

Your family is all home, you’re surrounded by all the people you love, but you’re left feeling entirely overwhelmed and alone. Your once picture-perfect family is one you no longer recognize. Your dear, strong-willed child has figured out a way to push every single one of your buttons, all at the same time. Your moody teenager is no where to be found; presumably holed up in their room on Tik Tok, or whatever the craze is at the moment. And your spouse is on the couch, physically present but emotionally in an entirely different world. Your marriage has shifted from that of soulmates and best friends to roommates and business partners, doing what needs to get done to survive another day.

You feel like you’ve tried everything. You’re tired of the fighting, of the eyerolls, but most of all, tired of the silence. You want to feel connected to your spouse again. You want to feel like they see you, hear you, understand you. You want to have fun with your kids again. You want your home to be one you look forward to returning to each day.

These dreams may seem all too distant. At times it may feel as if your relationship is too far gone - as if your family has fallen into patterns that can’t be reversed.
